Getting to the Poipu Shores

Directions from the Airport (15 miles - 30 minutes)

As you exit the Līhuʻe Airport you will be on Ahukini Road (Highway 570). Continue through the first traffic light signal (at Kapule Highway 51) and continue for about a mile on Akuhini Road until you reach the second traffic signal at the intersection of Kūhiō Highway / Highway 56. The highway will merge into Kaumualiʻi Highway / Highway 50 West. At 7 miles, turn left onto Highway 520 which leads to Kōloa Town and Poʻipū. Go about 3.2 miles until Highway 520 ends at Kōloa Road in Kōloa town. Turn right onto Kōloa Road. Turn left on to Poʻipū Road. After 1.4 miles, you will reach a traffic circle. Take the third right out of the traffic circle towards Poʻipū Beach. When you reach Poʻipū Beach, turn left, go past Brennecke's Restaurant and follow the road along the shoreline for about 0.4 miles until you get to the Poʻipū Shores.

Resort & Reservations

Will my credit card get charged?

Yes, your card will be charged the required deposit at booking. If you are booking a non-refundable rate, your card will be charged the entire stay at booking.

Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

A non-refundable $30 Reservation Processing fee will be charged at the time of booking.

A $40/night fee for air-conditioning use applies for all reservations in the 3-Bedroom Penthouse, Unit 406A only for all reservations booked from 9/26/22.

The bundled Checkout Clean Fee and Accidental Damage Protection Fee (plus tax) will be applied to all bookings to protect guests from accidental damage costs. Fees are per stay, per unit, plus taxes:

    • Two Bedrooms $329
    • Three Bedroom $379
Is the deposit refundable?

Yes, as long as the cancellation does not fall within the cancel period.

What time is check-in? Check out?

Standard check in time is after 3pm HST and check out is before 11am HST.

What are your front desk hours & after hours procedures?

Front Desk hours are from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. If you plan on arriving after hours, please call us in advance to make arrangements. If you are already on property, call (808) 720-7484 for instructions.

Can I request an early check in or late check out?

You may request for early checkin or late checkout, which will be subject to availability. Fees may apply.

I didn't receive a confirmation. How can I check if my reservation went through?

If you made an online reservation, you will be receiving an email confirmation. Please check your spam/junk mail folder if you have not received anything. To reconfirm your reservation, you can call our customer representative at (800) 367-5004 or send us an email resinquiry@castleresorts.com.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes, you can upgrade to a larger suite or room with a view. Call us at (800) 367-5004 and a customer representative will be delighted to assist you.

Do you have a resort fee, what is the fee, & what does it include?

We do not charge a resort fee.

Are requests guaranteed?

You may make requests at the time of booking. Please note, requests are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

ROOMS

Do you offer cribs?

Pack & Play's are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night. You may request at the time of booking.

Do the rooms include internet access?

Yes - all rooms offer complimentary in room high speed internet access via cable.

Do you provide housekeeping service?

Yes we offer once a week housekeeping for 7-night stays or longer. Housekeeping service can be purchased from $20 to $55 per day dependent on the size of the unit and type of service you would like.

What amenities do the rooms have?

Do you offer smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non smoking in compliance with state law.

Do you offer ADA rooms, how many and which room types?

Unfortunately we do not.

SERVICES & AMENITIES

What bath amenities do you provide?

Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, facial soap, and body soap.

Do you have a pool and Jacuzzi?

Yes, we have a heated fresh water swimming pool on the edge of the ocean. Hours are dawn to dusk. We do not offer a Jacuzzi.

Do you provide beach or pool towels?

Yes, we provide beach towels.

How many floors and elevators do you have?

We have 4 floors and no elevators.

What bedding options are available?

The one bedroom units offer one queen bed. The two bedroom units offer either one king or queen, plus two twin beds. The three bedroom units offer one king, one queen and two twin beds.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms and resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.

DINING OPTIONS

Do you have a restaurant?

No. However, Poipu has a variety of dining options.

Do you offer in-room grocery service?

No, we do not.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

Public transportations are available from the airport to the property, including car, shuttle, taxi and public transit. Our properties do not offer airport shuttles or transfers.

How close are you to the beach?

The property is oceanfront, nestled into the coastal cliffs. The closest beach is Poipu Beach, approximately 2 minutes walk from property.

How far are you from the airport?

The property is 15 miles from Lihue airport, approximately a 35-40 minute drive.

Airport taxi service?

Yes, we call a taxi for you as needed and requested.

Do you offer parking?

Self parking is free of charge.

Room Type - Payment & Cancellation Policies

A deposit of 2-nights room + tax and $30 + tax Reservation Fee will be charged at booking. The remaining balance will be collected 30-days prior to arrival. For reservations made 30 to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% of total reservation cost is due at booking.

Room Type - Cancellation Policy

Castle will provide a full refund (excluding the $30 + tax reservation fee and a $100 + tax cancellation fee) for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 29 days or less to arrival (including no-shows), all monies collected will be forfeited.

Taxes and Fees

Room rates are subject to Hawaii General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Taxes, which currently totals 14.962%.

A $40/night fee for air-conditioning use applies for all reservations in the 3-Bedroom Penthouse, Unit 406A for all reservations booked from 9/26/22.

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 2 Night Minimum Stay for all reservations, except for stays from December 20 - January 2 when there is a 4 Night Minimum stay.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night.
    • Rollaway Beds are subject to availability and can be rented for $30 per night.
Additional Comfort
    • Parking is free of charge.
    • Additional housekeeping services can be requested for a surcharge.
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Kamaaina, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units but will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.

    • Occupancy of the unit is subject to the house rules of the Poipu Shores Association of Apartment Owners, which are applicable to all owners, guests and occupants.

    • At least one person from the confirmed party must register at the front desk during business hours and be the responsible occupant for the entire length of stay.
    • No subleasing is allowed.
